We are a bereavement support service that provides a practical bereavement and funeral navigation service alongside hospital, local authority and hospice bereavement teams, free at the point of use for families, funded by hospices or commissioners through a transparent service fee, with no funeral director income, no funeral sector influence, and clear escalation back into hospice care where needed.

Katie is an Volunteering Consultant specialising in end-to-end volunteer recruitment, strategic retention, and programme optimisation. She conducts comprehensive desktop reviews of existing organisational policies, workflows, and documentation to identify operational gaps and deliver actionable improvements. By facilitating collaborative feedback sessions and embedding the volunteer perspective directly into her evaluations, Katie builds bespoke, co-produced frameworks that align with your team's culture. With over nine years of dedicated experience across the non-profit sector—specifically within the death, dying and bereavement sector, as well as community connectedness, homelessness support, anti-trafficking initiatives, and gambling addictions—she brings a nuanced, trauma-informed perspective to organisational development
